Financial Services
Solicitors' Financial Services
Solicitors' Financial Services is a division of the Law Society, the governing body of the solicitor's profession. Its purpose is to make expert financial advice available to the clients of solicitors throughout the country. The advice is provided by carefully selected financial services firms and covers a very wide range of personal financial issues including investment and taxation, savings, pensions, life assurance, mortgages and private healthcare. Most important of all, this advice is independent.
An Independent view
Why is independent advice important? Legislation provides that only authorised independent financial advisers can recommend financial products from the complete range that is available on the market. Other advisers may only recommend the products of the company they represent - whether they are right for you or not. Independent advisers work for you; other "advisers" work for the company they represent. Which would you prefer?
Your next step
If you would like to take advantage of Solicitor's Financial Services, all you have to do is ask. Whether you want advice on a specific issue or more generally, we will be pleased to arrange a meeting with an independent financial adviser.
